Laura Sofía de Sanctis Natera (born June 28, 1996 in Panama City) is a Panamanian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Señorita Panamá 2017 and represented Panama at the Miss Universe 2017. Laura was born and raised in Panama City. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Lía Victoria Borrero González won the Miss International 1998 while Justine Pasek, who represented Panama in Miss Universe 2002, won by default when she replaced the dethroned winner Oxana Fedorova of Russia. The grand finale of Señorita Panama 2017 held last night at the Amador Convention Center saw Laura Sofia De Sanctis from Contadora crowned as the Miss Universe Panama 2017. Laura was crowned Señorita Panamá 2017 on August 25, 2017 at Atlapa Convention Centre in Panama City and then competed at the Miss Universe 2017. She represented the Contadora island.
