Bridget Moynahan got her big break in the 2000 drama ‘Coyote Ugly’. In this comedy film, she portrayed the character of ‘Rachel’ – a bartender/dancer. Although this film garnered negative critical reviews, it was a box-office success. The actress’ next role was of supporting type in the flick ‘Serendipity’ as ‘Hally’ in 2001. She was then cast in the action film titled ‘The Sum of All Fears’, with Morgan Freeman and Ben Affleck as her co-stars. She played a strong and independent woman in the 2002 flick.

Projects
Her next role was of a CIA trainee in the 2003 ‘The Recruit’. In 2004, Moynahan was cast alongside Will Smith in the science-fiction movie ‘I, Robot’. In the flick, the star portrayed the character of ‘Dr. Susan Calvin,’ a specialist in robot psychology. Although this film generated mixed reviews, it is the actress’ most commercially successful movie till date.

Moynahan‘s next movie was ‘Lord of War’ which was released in 2005. In this political crime thriller, she appeared as ‘Ava Fontaine Orlov’. In November 2006, she did a thriller ‘Unknown’ the story of a group of individuals who are kidnapped and act in unity to escape from their captors.

She was cast as Helen Owen in Henry Bean’s comedy-drama ‘Noise’. This movie was screened at the 2007 Rome Film Festival and then was released in theaters in the year 2008.

She starred alongside Aaron Eckhart, Michael Peña and Michelle Rodriguez in ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ in 2011.
Currently, the actress is working on the CBS television drama ‘Blue Bloods’.
